Ensnared and Conquered
04:23
|

NO
Almost awake
Clinging to nightmares
Living the life of another
Helpless and buried
Like no other
Confined by the invisible room
Seems too entangled
To see the walls are narrowing
The passage is close
But the mind is too far
Knocking the glass door
Ceiling is too low
Can’t see the light of the moon
The shimmer is lost, can’t find it soon enough
The struggle to move can’t set your mind free
The narrowing spaces won’t let your will be
You search for your way, too clouded by the ills of life
Can’t barely breathe while you get yourself trapped
There is no why, in the amber of the moment.
The net of ruin by your own want of sense
Your inner voice is drowned by the noise of others
Freedom is nothing but a romantic concept
There is…no why...in the..amber of…the moment.

A Dream, Never Ending
05:08
|
|||
Rippling dreams into the state of awakeness
Rippling dreams into the state of forgetness
This living nightmare
A realm of my existence
Striving to wake
Striving against resistance
I tread this path
Toward wisdom’s embrace
I find I'm already asleep
Seeking solace in a dreamer's space
No solace
No trace
Even amidst the dawn's embrace
I remain veiled in unknowing
Unaware of the world's grace
The pain keeps growing
The pain keeps flowing

The Unyielding Fear
03:50
|

They claim it’s your instincts
Not a mere human choice
Let it trickle down your back
Thinking you still have a voice
You believe it’s for the better
Another hindrance in your path
Convinced you are full of purpose
Devoured slowly due to your neglect
Conditions of the human mind
You would think that life is unkind
A mystifying puzzle, trapping attempts to untangle
Empty vessel, only the form remains
You think that no persistence
Will require you to change
Embracing every waking moment
Trauma is all that remains
The force that tightens its grip on your mind
A shadow that looms over every decision you make
A suffocating presence that colors everything you do
A storm of dread rages within you

A Letter to Self
05:23
|
|||
The page is too empty
The white that haunts your dreams
I’m writing to you stranger
Though closer than it seems
John Doe
Are you still here on this plain
Did you listen? Did you leave?
Are you still playing make-believe?
As i write this, I’m with doubts
Hoping somehow you figured it out
Some redemption, did you find?
Are you worthy to be left behind?
I hope you're gone
Not worthy to keep moving on
You know this, Not right
Don’t try and go towards the light
The page is full of hatred
The known unknown
That which you gave up
Nothing will ever be good enough
No more answers for you to unlock
No more self containment,
Full of rage and disgust
I hope you burn this paper,
Knowing you should have been gone
You should have been gone

Misdiagnosis

Reliance
Defective
Wrong
His task seemed simple
But they showed him another way
A fruitless pursuit was discovered
Preventable aggravation
Discovered less than required
Could barely find his way back
They claim there is no damage
But his hands could not find the right key
Lost inside his head
can barely spell down the words
unable to measure the time
Subjected to too much change
The revolting truth finally strikes
Analysis failed to open his eyes
The medical system is painfully broken
Subsequent years of treatment
They see you now with eyes open wide
The struggle invested will light the way for others
The knowledge gives you no comfort
The time spent was already lost
Lethal experiment runs through your veins
Broken down spirit, feeling insane
Too many detours around the right path
Fatigue scars your body, condition uncured

Once upon a time in my mind's abyss
Where love is lost, and pain persists
I glimpsed the man I wished to be
A shadowy figure lost in misery
In the deepest groves of my soul's domain
A tale unwinds, whispered by the rain
Yearning to break free from nature's chain
To reshape my existence like wind and terrain
In the realm where shadows fall like rain
I'll beckon the tempest, let it hide my pain.
A lament of sorrow, echoed by the riverside
Within nature's hold, our journey shall abide
Amidst these dense woods
My wandering soul
Every footfall unveils
choices untold
A consequence of a path
Not of my soul's decree
Selected by another
Leading astray from me.
In the twilight's grip
It's now too late to mend
The man I once dreamed of
His fate won't unbend
Forever trapped within
This spectral shell
A mere sliver of
The man I hoped to appear

The Chase
05:51
|
|||
Chasing down every track
Trying to break all the lines
Barely catching your breath
All your roads are defined
Seeking for the fish that could fly
Looking for the sun in the night
Running for your life in a moment’s breath
Living inside a bubble full of regret
Never-ending quest!
You won’t make it through the night
You have no vision, only sight
Going down through the stream
No sense of self from within
Instead of living your life
You chose death as your wife
Can't remember what are dreams
Weather is colder than it seems
Losing grip of what’s right
You won’t make it through the night
Flight
Sight
Died
All mistakes overlooked
No more words in your book
Missing out all your life
Even missed by the knife

Relapse
04:17
|
|||
Cannot quit for a day
Been hunted for a lifetime
This repeating compulsion
Takes form in many ways
Cannot find contentment
Void was never materialistic
No time for you to recover
Relapsed into chaos
The never-ending tremor
Like a constant need to itch
Even though this is not your first time
You decided to stay
Wondering why you lost your footing
Like there was some other way
Was encouraged to find the balance
Between the insight and the desire
You like the way the scars look on your skin
Believing they protect you from within
The journey is too long for you to carry
Sanity awaits while you fall from grace
Rather drown than lifting your head
Medication can barely get you out of bad
Asking for help was the hardest part
Too late, maybe it’s time to depart
